Scripture: John 2:1-11
"Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water;" so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out of and take it to the master of the feats.." So they took it (John 2:7-8).
Every day, Jesus wants to give us immeasurably more. All he as is for us to fill up our biggest "empty" jars with water and watch him make wine and invite us to draw some out. That, dear reader, is the power og God's awesome transforming grace in our lives.
Let us Pray: Lord, please take my ordinary life, and by your power, transform it to be filled with your joy and strength. Amen.
Scripture: Isaiah 55:8-9 : For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Prayer: Lord, please help me learn how to trust you even when things do not look the way I expect them to look. Help me to know that you always want what is best for me regardless of what my physical eyes may see. in Jesus name. Amen.
Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me and the life I now life in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who love me and gave himself for me.
Union with Christ means that in his death and resurrectin we were represented. That means that there is a living union between every believer and Christ; by the Spirit, and so he lives in intimate fellowship with all who choose him as their Lord and Savior. Every believer has a spiritual relationship of the utmost intimacy with Christ in a very personal and intimate relationship.
Let us Pray: Lord, help us to plant seeds of faith deep into the soil of your love and forgiveness so that our relationship with you may grow to maturity, through the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
